The only way to enjoy our 2-for-1 cocktails
Bokor Mountain Lodge (est. 2004), previously Marco Polo, FCC, is a boutique hotel, restaurant and bar on the riverfront in Kampot. It has recently undergone a dramatic and extensive refurbishment and is now open as a hotel, bar and restaurant.
Built in 1908, this beautiful French colonial building has once again taken its rightful place in the lives of expats, tourists and locals alike.
Nestling on the banks of the Preaek Kampong Bay River, which flows into the Gulf of Thailand, the Lodge is set amid wonderfully evocative crumbling French colonial architecture.
In this setting, it is impossible not to dream of an age gone by while dining or sipping drinks overlooking the river and passing the time of day with Kampot’s friendly and sociable local residents.
Cruise up the river for an hour or two and watch the sunset or relax over a gorgeous ‘Kampot green pepper crab’ in our restaurant as another day drifts past and you’ll begin to realise why Kampot is such a tricky place to leave.
Unwind in a beautiful old French colonial building, take in the river views and let your mind drift to a bygone era
Specialising in Australian steaks, NZ lamb and local fresh seafood, you can enjoy a wide selection of home-cooked classics
Regular live ‘acoustic nights’ featuring some of Cambodia’s finest musicians as well as talent from the local music scene
“My cousin and I were enticed into the Bokor Mountain Lodge by
the menu and we weren’t to be disappointed…
The most delicious meal of the local crab and locally grown pepper, ginger and chilli sauce was served,
washed down with a glass of cold white wine …the meal was mouth-wateringly scrumptious!
Owners Andy and Scott and their staff were very friendly and attentive making our
experience here even more special and we were treated to some
great live music which had us singing along quite enthusiastically!
In all a fun relaxed atmosphere and a great night out!”Fiona Jolley (December, 2015)
We are situated right on the riverside, on the corner of St. 726 (affectionately known as Eat Street). With a good selection of bars, restaurants, shops and ATMs nearby we’re very central to everything Kampot has to offer.
Once you arrive in Kampot, just ask any tuk-tuk driver for ‘Bokor Mountain Lodge’, they’ll bring you straight here.

Best location in a great little town!
“This was my 3rd visit to Kampot over the past 2 years and the Lodge is definitely the best of the 3 places I have stayed. Great location, great food and the staff could not be more helpful. The lodge is part of local history being 100+ years old, its not all mod cons, however that all adds to the charm of the place”

“Amazing building along the river, staff extremely friendly, the place has a very welcoming atmosphere and the restaurant has a menu to suit any palate. Room was large and had everything we needed, clean and tidy with those lovely extra touches! Views of the river were gorgeous. Reasonable prices.”
